I found yoga as a new mom over 20 years ago. Yoga helped me practice self-care and find balance and perspective. Also, after many years of long distance running, I am grateful that my yoga practice has kept me pain and injury free. I became a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher in 2014. Through yoga training, I learned more about the philosophy that underpins the practice of yoga, and my own yoga practice blossomed and grew. I LOVE so many things about teaching yoga! I love how it impacts the whole self: mind, body, and spirit. I love to assist my students in calming their minds and finding peace in the moment. I also love to help people find strength and flexibility in their bodies. And I absolutely love using props to help students find the pose that is right for their individual bodies. When I’m not practicing yoga, I enjoy walking my two golden retrievers, cooking, reading, running, and spending time with my husband and three daughters. I look forward to sharing my love of yoga with you.
