Ashley Ann Jones 500hr RYT & 85hr PRYT
Ashley has been dancing and performing since she was 2 years old. She found yoga in college where she was a Dance Major and used yoga to rehabilitate after an injury. After moving to NYC in 2013, Ashley received her 200-hr Yoga Certification from Three Sisters Yoga (2014). In 2016, she received her Certification in Pre/Postnatal Yoga from Maha Mama. And in 2020, she completed her 300-hr Yoga Teacher Certification from Yoga Vida and her certificate in Baby Yoga and Developmental Movement from Karma Kids Yoga. As a teacher, Ashley feels that it is very important not to rush through each pose. Instead, build strength, flexibility, and find the breath and ease in each pose. Her classes always include core work and a step by step sequence into each peak pose. Her Pre/Postnatal classes focus on preparing for birth by including breath work, labor training exercises, as well as preparing for (or during) the postpartum period — finding ways to support the body during this transitional time.
